Manufacture Engineering Technician

The opportunity described below is for an hourly position within the Engineering department.
This position is accountable for technical engineering support to manufacturing, continuous improvement efforts, design of secondary machine pm program, and equipment improvement efforts associated with secondary equipment.
This position will study maintenance records, the pm program, failure analysis, root cause identification, reactive maintenance records, etc.
Pay starts at $20.

-Study and develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for secondary equipment.
-Work with manufacturing to implement new and improved methods:

-Work with outside vendors concerning equipment problems and create effective, efficient, and safe solutions.
-Study Reactive Maintenance records:
-Pareto reasons for failure -Identify trends & costs associated with equipment failures -Design out the equipment failure -Work with production to assist in prototype setups.
-Assist in developing scope of work for capital repairs and/or new equipment.

Must possess management skills, administrative skills, 3-5 year's experience in powder metal technology and machining, drilling, tapping, turning and milling.
