Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities or the elderly.
- Conduct training sessions for caregivers.
- Proficient in computer skills and documentation.
- Engage in companionship activities such as watching television and conversation.
- Uphold and respect the rights and dignity of clients.
- Complete Drive Safety Training for transporting clients to appointments or activities.
- Be available to work PRN (as needed) to ensure consistent care for clients.
Requirements:
- Must embody qualities of love, compassion, hard work, consistency, and reliability.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physical tasks.
- Previous experience or knowledge in caregiving preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a dynamic team.
- Willingness to learn, coach, and train other caregivers.
- Honest, compassionate, and able to connect with clients and colleagues.
- Must have reliable transportation, insurance, and a valid driver's license.
- Comfortable driving up to 3-4 hours daily.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification and TB screening required prior to hire.
- Must pass a background check with no record.
- Ability to clock in and out on time daily.
- Familiarity with CPS and APS background checks.
Location:
Clients are primarily located in the South Region.
Interviews are conducted virtually and meet-and-greets are held in the client's home.
